Warehouse Operative \- Ashbourne
Choice Stores, a rapidly growing retail company, is searching for dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our amazing team. If you're passionate about logistics and looking to take your career to the next level, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders in a timely manner
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, adhering to safe lifting techniques and guidelines
- Maintain stock inventory, ensuring accuracy and organization
- Ability to build solid safe pallets
- Ensure all deliveries are checked in and out accurately from the warehouse
- Ensure that Goods Receiving and Dispatching procedures are followed at all times
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner
- Participate in routine stock checks and report discrepancies
- Work closely with team members to achieve warehouse targets and goals
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred
- Forklift certification is an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well in a fast\-paced, team\-oriented environment
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items safely
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
