About the Role
Reign's CarePlus Pharmacy is a brand\-new community pharmacy opening in Ashbourne. We are seeking an experienced OTC \& Retail Manager who will play a key role in the successful launch and day\-to\-day operation of the pharmacy.
This is a hands\-on position combining OTC sales, retail management, customer service, merchandising, stock control, and team supervision. The successful candidate will lead by example while working directly with customers and supporting the pharmacy team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and OTC advice within your scope of practice.
- Assist customers with OTC medicines, healthcare products, vitamins, and skincare products.
- Lead and support OTC and retail staff.
- Manage stock ordering, stock control, and merchandising.
- Implement planograms and promotional displays.
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked and presented to a high standard.
- Support the pharmacy team with daily operational activities.
- Assist with seasonal campaigns, vaccination clinics, health promotions, and community events.
- Monitor retail performance and identify sales opportunities.
- Help create a welcoming and professional pharmacy environment.
Requirements
- 3–5 years' experience in a pharmacy OTC role.
- Previous supervisory or retail management experience preferred.
- Strong OTC product knowledge.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with stock control, merchandising, and promotional planning.
- Ability to lead by example and work as part of a team.
- Flexible, proactive, and highly organised.
