Trust Doctor ST3+ in Stroke Medicine
The post will be based in stroke medicine, supporting ward rounds on the stroke unit and acute thrombolysis sessions and sessions in the TIA clinic. On\-call commitments are optional and subject to discussion and agreement with Clinical Director.
This will be supporting themiddle grade acute medicine on call rota. Full details on the on call rota can be provided on request, with based to include weekends at a 1:5 frequency and night cover at a 1:15
frequency.
There is an option of working in Acute Medicine/General Medicine, along with Stroke to offer flexibility and gain experience.
This is a Full\-Time post providing with basic hours of 40 hours per week, but applicants wishing to work part\-time are also encouraged to apply and rotas will be adjusted accordingly, and by negotiation with appointees.
Support for Hyper Acute Stroke, Acute Stroke and Rehabilitation wards, to support consultant led ward rounds.
Support for acute thrombolysis supported by specialist nursing team and stroke consultant TIA clinics. Frequency of each to be determined by service need following negotiation with successful applicant
