Job description

Mae’r ddogfen hon ar gael yn Gymraeg / This document is also available in Welsh.An opportunity has arisen for the position of Surveyor within the Housing Grants and Building Control Team. We are looking for a self\-motivated and enthusiastic individual to become an integral part of the surveying team that will be responsible for delivering a wide range of Grants to private homeowners throughout the Rhondda Cynon Taf.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and verifying levels of work eligible for grant award, preparing specifications and quantified schedule of work. Inspecting work in progress to check standards of workmanship and verifying and agreeing levels of unforeseen work. Inspecting, valuing and verifying interim and final payments of all types of grants awarded to properties throughout Rhondda Cynon Taf.

You should possess a minimum HNC in Building Studies or a recognised Building Trade qualification, have experience in surveying within the housing environment, IT literate and understanding the needs of disabled people within the housing environment.
