Blaenau Gwent is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Educational Psychologist to support the Principal Educational Psychologist in providing strategic leadership and management to the Educational Psychology Service.
As a Senior Educational Psychologist, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering high\-quality psychological services across the local authority. You will contribute to strategic development, service innovation, and collaborative working to improve outcomes for children and young people. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver local authority\-wide projects, demonstrating impact at system level.
- Provide professional supervision and support to members of the Educational Psychology Service, Trainee Educational Psychologists, school staff and other professionals.
- Contribute to the strategic direction and development of the Educational Psychology Service.
- Support workforce development through training, consultation, and capacity building.
- Work collaboratively with multi\-agency partners to promote inclusion and wellbeing.
- Maintain high standards of applied psychological practice across the service.

- Proven experience of leading and delivering local authority\-wide initiatives or projects.
- Strong skills in supervision, coaching, and professional support for a range of practitioners.
