Sales Executive – Telecoms / VoIP

This is a 360, self\-generating sales role. You’ll be trusted to go out and win new business, not rely on hand\-fed opportunities.
Day\-to\-day, you’ll be:
- Generating your own new business through outbound activity (calls, outreach, networking)
- Working high\-volume outbound activity (e.g. calls, meetings, follow\-ups)
- Booking and attending meetings with potential customers
- Selling telecoms, VoIP and broadband solutions into organisations (including education)
- Managing your own pipeline from first contact through to close
- Occasionally handling inbound leads or allocated opportunities (but not relying on them)
- Building long\-term relationships with customers
You don’t need to come directly from telecoms – but you do need to know how to generate business.
Ideally, you’ll:
- Have experience in a sales role where you’ve generated your own leads
- Be confident making outbound calls and building a pipeline from scratch
- Be driven, resilient and comfortable working to activity\-based targets
- Have a “get on with it” attitude – someone who just gets things done
- Be happy working in an office environment and contributing to team energy
- Experience in telecoms, VoIP, broadband
- Experience selling into the public sector
- Exposure to security/alarm systems
