Sales Executive | Stag Party Sales | Salary + Uncapped Commission
Right. We know what you're thinking.
"Another sales job ad. Competitive salary. Dynamic team. Fast\-paced environment. Ping pong table probably."
No ping pong table. We lied about that. But keep reading.
What is Stagit.ie?
We plan stag parties for a living. Yes, that's a real job. Yes, people pay us for it. Yes, it's as good as it sounds.
We're based in Mullingar — Ireland's most underrated city, don't argue with us — and we're growing so fast we've had to add two extra floors to our head office and open a new office in South Africa. We're closing in on 100 staff in Mullingar alone and expanding to a second office that will take another 100 people. We're not entirely sure how it got to this point either, but here we are.
Our clients come to us. Lads all over Ireland planning the greatest weekend of their best mate's life fill in a form on our website, and then you call them and help make it happen. That's the job. No cold calling strangers who hate you. Just warm leads and good craic.
Who We're Looking For
We'll be honest with you in a way most job ads won't.
We don't need someone with fifteen years of corporate sales experience and a LinkedIn profile that reads like a TED Talk. We need someone who can pick up the phone, have a genuine conversation, and actually listen to what a customer needs.
Specifically, we're looking for someone who:
- Can string a sentence together in English, spoken and written. This one's non\-negotiable, we're afraid.
- Can get themselves to Mullingar Monday to Friday without it becoming a whole thing. Bus, car, helicopter, we don't mind.
- Is competitive enough to care about hitting targets but self\-aware enough not to be insufferable about it
- Has enough energy to keep going when the going gets slow, and enough personality to build real rapport with customers
- Won't spend the first week pretending they know everything and the second week asking about everything they were too proud to ask about in week one
- Actually wants to do this. Not just any job, this job.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Answering warm inbound enquiries from groups planning stag parties and turning them into confirmed bookings
- Talking to people on the phone. A lot. If you hate phone calls this is going to be a rough time for both of us.
- Building the kind of client relationships where lads come back to you for the next lad's stag because you were that good the first time
- Hitting your targets, because that's how commission works and commission is the whole point
- Being part of a team that is genuinely trying to build something
- A real salary. Competitive base plus uncapped commission. The harder you work the more you earn, simple as that.
- A career path that actually goes somewhere. We're opening new offices. We added two floors. We're in South Africa now somehow. Leadership roles are opening and we'd rather promote from within than hire from outside.
- Hybrid working is on the table. After an initial period in the office where we get to know each other first. It's not you, it's us.
- The chance to travel to Dubai, Cape Town, and Asia if you're a top performer. This is real. We actually send people.
- Monthly training that is, and we mean this, not the worst training you've ever sat through.
- A working environment that takes the work seriously and nothing else too seriously.
Hit apply. We'll be in touch within 72 hours.
If you don't hear back within 72 hours, check your spam folder. If it's not there either, apply again. We're busy. We have two extra floors now.
