Document Controller / Project Administrator
Due to company growth, we are seeking a meticulous and organised Document Controller / Project Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining all project documentation, ensuring that documents are accurate, up\-to\-date, and easily accessible. This role is crucial in supporting our project teams by providing efficient document management and control processes.
The role will require the candidate to travel once a week to a site in London.
£30,000 \- £32,000 dependent on experience.
This is a full time, permanent position pending successful completion of the probationary period.
Working hours are Monday \- Friday, 8:00am \- 5:00pm
Duties
- Maintain an organised filing system for all project documentation, both electronic and hard copy.
- Ensure that all documents are accurately version\-controlled and archived according to company policies.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather, review, and distribute documents as needed.
- Implement document control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations by providing necessary documentation.
- Conduct regular audits of documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide training and support to team members on document management systems and processes.
- Using Principal Contractor software system such as Asite,4Projects, Fieldview, Dome Connect, Biosite and Datascope – training provided.
- Proven experience in document control or administrative role.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards related to document control is advantageous.
- A proactive approach to problem\-solving with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
