Job description

The ideal candidate for this role will be GDC registered. However, candidates who are already registered on a Dental Nurse training course and have a good amount of experience in practice may also be considered.

This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check as well as two satisfactory employment references.

As a Dental Nurse, you will be required to demonstrate:

This role includes manning our decontamination room which is shared out between all clinical staff, it may involve some reception duties so knowledge of R4 appointment operating system would be beneficial however not essential as full training will be provided.

Ideal hours of work for this role will be 40\.75 hours per week, hours to be worked over 5 days \- Monday \- Friday, however we may consider 2 x part time to job share.

We are looking for individuals who are well presented and have good communication skills, with a genuine interest in this role, showing motivation and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care by assisting with dental procedures and ensuring patient comfort.


• Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries.


• Utilize IT systems to maintain accurate patient records and manage billing processes.


• Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure smooth workflow.


• Uphold GDC standards and maintain a well\-organized and hygienic environment.


• Demonstrate strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
