Mae’r ddogfen hon ar gael yn Gymraeg / This document is also available in Welsh.Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council is seeking an experienced and driven Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of a multi\-million pound capital and revenue programme across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and engineering projects.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for managing and developing a high performing team, requiring the successful delivery of contract requirements for a range of internal clients, while also acting as a centre of excellence for construction and service contracts and their procurement.

The successful candidate will be required to centrally produce, monitor and administer all contracts generated within the Highways and Engineering Service area. Specifically ensuring they are administered in accordance with the terms of the contract, procurement regulations including any performance criteria.

You will be a confident leader with a strong background in contract administration across the highways, civil engineering or infrastructure environment and have excellent knowledge of a variety of contracts such as ECC NEC4, TSC NEC4, JCT and PSC.

The permanent full\-time position is based at Llys Cadwyn, Pontypridd, benefiting from nearby public parking and excellent sustainable transport links to Cardiff and the surrounding area. However, the role is hybrid, allowing the opportunity to work from the office, home and at construction sites as required. Employment hours are 37 hours a week under the flexible working hours scheme, with 26 days annual leave (rising to 31 days after 5 years), and the opportunity to join the Local Government Pension Scheme and staff benefits card.

You will be required to hold a full valid driving licence and be expected to travel throughout the county borough as required under the terms of the agile working arrangement. Access to a Council pool vehicle will be made available.
