To support our expanding services, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Ultrasound Sonographer with expertise in Musculoskeletal (MSK), Gynaecological (Gynae) and General ultrasound to join our team on a bank contract.
Role Overview
As an Ultrasound Sonographer, you will independently perform ultrasound scans and produce high\-quality diagnostic reports. You must be comfortable working alone while maintaining the ability to liaise with other sonographers, consultants, and the wider medical team as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MSK and Gynae ultrasound scans independently, ensuring high\-quality imaging and accurate reporting.
- Provide clear, concise diagnostic reports to referring clinicians.
- Deliver a professional and compassionate service, prioritising patient comfort and understanding.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with the wider team, including sonographers, consultants, and administrative staff.
- Ensure compliance with clinic protocols, regulatory requirements, and best practice guidelines.
- Participate in maintaining high standards of clinical governance, quality, and patient safety.
