Restaurant Assistant Manager

Overview

The Coast in Tarporely is looking for a passionate, friendly \& hardworking individual to join our Management Team. We are a small independent company, striving to deliver good quality, fresh produce with a fantastic level of customer service, in a relaxed, friendly environment.

The Menu is Mediterranean in style, and has a big emphasis on great fish \& meat dishes, as well as classic Italian dishes.

The job role will include, assisting the General Manager with day\-to\-day running and responsibilities, overseeing service and managing the team, and providing stable leadership to the business.

Responsibilities

· Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations

· Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction

· Organise and supervise shifts

· Ensure compliance with sanitation and Health \& safety regulations

· Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it

· Control operational costs and work closely with the Manager

· Promote the brand in the local community through word\-of\-mouth and restaurant events

· Train new and current employees on customer service practices, and help keep service levels to the highest standard possible

· Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations

Skills were looking for:

· Proven work experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager or Supervisory role

· Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff

· Familiarity with restaurant management software, i.e. Till \& bookings systems\- although training will be provided

· Strong leadership, motivational and people skills

· the ability to work under pressure, and the desire to help drive the business forward.

· The desire to improve knowledge of products, and to help keep high standards of service and Cleanliness

Pay: £30,000\.00\-£32,500\.00 per year
