About the role
In this role you will deliver high\-quality teaching, playing a key role in delivering a curriculum that is current, career\-focused, and aligned with industry needs. Supporting the development and review of learning programmes in line with national trends and curriculum changes.
You will prepare effective learning materials, adapt teaching to meet student needs, and contribute to continuous improvement in delivery. You will also be providing guidance and support to students, addressing student welfare needs and referring to other departments where appropriate and carrying out assessments in line with college and awarding body requirements.

About the person
As a successful candidate you will ideally have previous experience of teaching Travel and Tourism, but this is not essential. You will hold a relevant Level 3 qualification and Degree or professional/vocational with industry experience within Travel and Tourism.
You will be an effective and approachable communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build positive working relationships with colleagues and learners alike.
With a learner\-focused mindset, you will be able to manage your workload, adapt to new challenges and provide appropriate support to students, including children, young people and vulnerable adults.
Level 2 or equivalent Maths and English is also essential.
