Job Summary:
We are seeking a Transport Planner to oversee operations during day shifts from Thursday to Monday. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership skills and possess a strong IT background along with a history of logistics planning to ensure smooth operations.
28 Days holiday per year.
Duties:
\- Manage and supervise the planning and execution of routes and drivers
\- Monitor and maintain efficient workflow
\- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
\- Coordinate with other departments to resolve any operational issues
\- Conduct regular inspections to guarantee quality standards are met
\- Proficiency in IT systems and software
\- Strong leadership skills to guide the night shift team effectively
\- Knowledge of transport operations
\- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
\- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
\- Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels
\- Computer literacy with the drive to learn new systems and processes
Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000\.00\-£32,000\.00 per year
