Qualified GP Practice Dispenser (30 hours)

We wish to employ an experienced Dispenser who actively enjoys providing excellent, friendly and compassionate service to our patients, whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy. The successful applicant will enjoy working in a busy environment with lots of face\-to\-face and telephone patient contact, and be proactive member of our team working not only with dispensary colleagues but with the wider practice team of Reception, Admin, Nurses and GPs.

Main duties of the job

In order to qualify for shortlisting, your CV will need to demonstrate the following:

• BTEC/NVQ Level 2 recognised dispensing qualification or equivalent


• Excellent customer service and communication


• High level of attention to detail and accuracy


• Team working ethos

Experience of working in a GP practice is not essential but a sense of humour is. Hours are flexible to suit you and the needs of the practice to cover in dispensary, to be discussed at interview.

Starting pay is £13\.00, rising to £13\.17 in October 26
