Transport Administrator Days

Transport Administrator – Bradford

30 hours per week working 8am to 2pm Monday to Friday

£20,389\.20 \+ generous employee benefits, with the potential to earn £1800 (pro rata) through attendance \& performance bonus

About you

• Strong administrative and organisational skills.


• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.


• Accurate data\-entry and record\-keeping skills.


• Ability to prioritise tasks


• Clear written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to work effectively with drivers, Team Leaders, managers.


• Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling compliance records.


• Understanding of confidentiality and appropriate handling of employee information.


• Reliable, professional and able to work with limited supervision.

• Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role.


• Experience maintaining electronic and paper records.


• Experience completing spreadsheets, trackers and routine reports.


• Experience checking documents for accuracy and following up missing information.

• Previous experience in a transport, logistics


• Knowledge of drivers’ hours, Working Time Directive.


• Experience handling PCNs, fixed\-penalty notices and Notices of Intended Prosecution.

• Methodical and consistent.


• Proactive in identifying missing or overdue information.


• Comfortable challenging incomplete or inaccurate paperwork.


• Trustworthy when handling confidential or compliance\-sensitive information.


• A team player who is also capable of working independently.


• Willing to learn transport legislation and company procedures.
