Chloros Environmental’s best\-in\-class waste transfer facility and highly specialised team care for your non hazardous and hazardous waste streams through offering innovative recycling and recovery solutions. Chloros can provide consultancy services using their vast knowledge of chemicals and how they interact with the environment, including DGSA Support, Chemist Services, Spill Response and Chemical Hazard Awareness Training, to ensure full compliance.
We are looking for a Technical Assistant to work as part of the technical team to correctly classify hazardous and non\-hazardous wastes coming into and out of the transfer station in line with the permit requirements and to ensure the upmost standard of compliance is achieved.
Main responsibilites
- Technical Site Support
- Technical assessment of hazardous and non\-hazardous waste in accordance with and input into our integrated waste management software database system
- Monitoring the quality of paperwork coming into and out of site, including third\-parties, and reporting
- Participate in customer and supplier site audits where required
- Generation of legal paperwork for UK \& Europe
- Assisting the sales team with technical queries
- Assist with and complete any Non\-Conformances and Rejections of Loads
- Follow procedures set out for Pre\-Acceptance criteria
- Contact customers, Manufacturer’s and third parties to obtain information required
Educated to minimum HNC in Chemistry or degree in related discipline
