Hourly Rate : £12\.75 per hour

Job purpose

We are looking for a motivated and highly organised Ecommerce Product Uploader / Product Content Assistant to join our ecommerce team.

The role will focus on creating, uploading and maintaining product listings across our websites, ensuring product information, imagery and descriptions are accurate, consistent and presented to a high standard.

Previous ecommerce, Magento, jewellery or watch experience would be beneficial, but the most important qualities are strong attention to detail, good written English, confidence using Excel and the ability to work accurately to deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Upload and maintain product information using our ecommerce CMS, Magento.


• Create accurate and engaging product descriptions for jewellery, watches and related products.


• Write short, persuasive product summaries with SEO best practice in mind.


• Ensure product titles, descriptions, pricing, attributes, categories and imagery are accurate before products go live.


• Check that product placement and imagery are in line with the website style and brand standards.


• Crop, check and prepare product images before upload, using Adobe Photoshop where required.


• Support daily and weekly product upload targets.


• Assist with catalogue research, product data checks and description optimisation.


• Visually merchandise products on the website to support customer experience and commercial priorities.


• Work closely with the ecommerce team on product content, website updates and general ecommerce tasks.

• Experience using an ecommerce CMS system, ideally Magento.


• Confident using Microsoft Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUPs and basic data handling.


• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.


• Basic Adobe Photoshop skills.


• Excellent attention to detail.


• Strong written English with the ability to write clear and accurate product descriptions.


• Highly organised, self\-motivated and able to work to deadlines.


• Able to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately.


• Comfortable working in a busy ecommerce environment.


• Interest in jewellery, watches, fashion or online retail.

• Previous experience in ecommerce product uploading.


• Knowledge of SEO for product descriptions.


• Jewellery or watch product knowledge.


• Experience supporting online promotions or website merchandising.
