About the Role
We are looking for a CCTV Systems Builder to join our team in Newport. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with technology and has a keen eye for detail.
As a CCTV Systems Builder, you will play a key role in the assembly, configuration, testing and quality assurance of CCTV recording systems. You will help ensure that products are built to the highest standards and meet customer requirements before dispatch. The role also includes supporting the Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) process, assisting with the testing and diagnosis of returned products.
Full training will be provided. This position offers the opportunity to develop technical skills and build a career within a growing technology business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and configure CCTV recording systems, including PC\-based systems, servers and IP camera solutions.
- Review daily build reports to ensure stock and sales requirements are met.
- Carry out functional testing on completed systems to identify and resolve any issues.
- Install and verify custom firmware versions as required.
- Support the RMA process by testing, diagnosing and processing returned products.
- Maintain accurate records relating to returned products, repairs and replacements.
- Work closely with Engineering, Customer Service and Logistics teams to ensure efficient processing of products.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance build quality and efficiency.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised working environment.
- Undertake any other duties reasonably required within the scope of the role.
