Supported Living Support workers required

• Full and Part Time hours \- No Zero Hours Contracts


• Due to the nature of the service and the needs of our service users, this post is restricted to female applicants only, as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010\.


• Pay rates from £12\.85\-£13 per hour with overtime available.


• Immediate starts

We have Supported Living vacancies available in the Clitheroe area.

As a leading care agency for over 20 years supporting adults and children with Learning Disabilities / Autism and Mental Health issues, Pendle Support are looking for committed, caring people to become Full or Part Time Support Workers.

The position and expectation:

As a support worker you will be required to be able to work independently or as part of a team.

This role is all around promoting independence and supporting the service users around all aspects of their daily life. We will support the service users to numerous different activities such as attending karaoke at their local pub, attending football activities, bowling and any other fun activities that they may want to attend. Some of the service users at the supported living tenancy has a mobility vehicle and so having your own vehicle may not be required.

Within your role you will be expected to support the service users around their personal care, medication, household tasks such as maintaining the home and cooking.

You will work to the needs of the person being supported and their support plan, ensuring that they get the most out of you and the support being provided to them.

As part of the role, you will need a smart phone (either apple or android) as we are moving away from paper reporting \- this is an essential element to being successful in the role.
