Stoneacre Lodge is a friendly 29\-bed residential care home committed to providing high\-quality, person\-centred care to our residents. We are currently looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our day team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about elderly care and confident leading a shift within a residential setting.
About the Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day\-to\-day running of the home, ensuring residents receive safe, dignified, and person\-centred care at all times.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Administering medication safely
- Leading and supporting care staff during shifts
- Supporting residents with personal care and daily living tasks
- Completing accurate documentation and care records
- Communicating effectively with families and healthcare professionals
- Responding appropriately to emergencies and safeguarding concerns
- Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing for all residents
- Level 3 NVQ in Health \& Social Care (Essential)
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar senior care role
- Experience within a residential care setting
- Medication administration experience
- Good leadership and communication skills
- A caring, reliable, and professional approach
