We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing outstanding care and support to residents
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering high\-quality person\-centred care, ensuring the comfort, dignity, and wellbeing of those we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support care assistants during shifts.
- Deliver high\-quality personal care and support tailored to individual needs.
- Administer medication in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and record residents' health and wellbeing.
- Liaise effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
- Ensure care plans are followed and updated as required.
- Promote independence, dignity, choice, and respect for all residents.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and safeguarding concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
he successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a senior care role or a similar position.
- SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Health \& Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
- Medication administration experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A caring, patient, and compassionate nature.
- Good organisational and record\-keeping abilities.
- An understanding of person\-centred care and safeguarding practices.
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts.
