Apprentice Warehousing & Logistics Assistant

SST Sensing Limited, part of the global DwyerOmega Group, is offering an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Warehousing \& Logistics Assistant to join our growing team in Coatbridge. For over 20 years, we have designed and manufactured high\-quality electronic sensors and instrumentation used across a variety of industries worldwide.

As a Modern Apprentice, you'll gain hands\-on experience working within our warehouse and distribution operation while studying towards an SCQF Level 5 qualification in Warehouse, Storage \& Distribution.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working as part of a team, and wants to build a long\-term career in logistics and supply chain operations.

What you'll be doing

Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll support the smooth running of our dispatch, materials, and customer service activities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the receipt, storage, and movement of materials and finished goods


• Learning and following warehouse and dispatch procedures


• Maintaining accurate stock records using our ERP system


• Assisting with stock control and stock\-taking activities


• Processing incoming and outgoing goods


• Supporting the movement, segregation, and release of materials to production


• Responding to customer and carrier enquiries regarding deliveries and tracking information


• Helping ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time


• Working collaboratively with production and warehouse teams to meet business targets and customer expectations

• Enthusiastic and keen to learn


• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking


• Organised with good attention to detail


• Comfortable working in a fast\-paced environment


• Adaptable and able to manage changing priorities


• A strong team player with a proactive attitude


• Motivated to develop new skills and build a career in logistics and warehousing


• Able to communicate professionally with colleagues, customers, and suppliers

• A recognised SCQF Level 5 Apprenticeship qualification


• Practical experience in warehousing, logistics, and supply chain operations
