Contract: Flexible temporary roles (day\-to\-day, short\-term and long\-term)
Salary: £95\-£105 per day, pro\-rata (depending on experience, role and/or qualifications)
About the role
At Heart of Supply, we are delighted to be recruiting for a full\-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Brigg, to start as soon as possible.
Working closely with teachers and the SEND team, you will provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence and achieve their potential. The role may involve a combination of 1:1 support, small group interventions and in\-class assistance, depending on the needs of the pupils.
The school is seeking a patient, caring and proactive individual who can build positive relationships with pupils and contribute to an inclusive learning environment where every child feels supported, valued and able to succeed. What you will need:
- Experience supporting children in a school, nursery, or education\-based setting
- Clear, professional communication and a proactive, reliable attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively with school staff
- A minimum of 6 weeks’ experience working with children in a similar setting in the UK
- A kind, confident, and calm approach, with a genuine passion for helping pupils succeed
- The ability to follow a teacher’s lead while using your initiative to support individuals and small groups
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting children with additional needs
- A flexible and proactive attitude, ready to step into different classrooms and year groups
- A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification is helpful, but not essential if you have relevant experience
