SEN Teacher
Full-Time | September 2026 Start | KS4 Nurture Group
We are seeking a committed and compassionate qualified teacher (QTS required) to join our team from September 2026 on a full-time basis. This role is initially a maternity cover for the Autumn Term, with the potential to become a longer-term or ongoing position.
About the Role
You will be teaching a KS4 nurture group, working with a small class of pupils who benefit from a highly personalised, supportive approach to learning. The curriculum is adapted to focus on functional learning, independence, and life skills, alongside core academic development.
While the class is Key Stage 4 in age, students are currently working at an earlier developmental stage. We warmly welcome applications from both Primary and Secondary trained teachers, particularly those with experience in adapting learning to meet a wide range of needs.

- Opportunities to make a meaningful difference in pupils’ daily lives and long-term outcomes
This specialist setting supports children and young people with a variety of additional needs, including:
- Moderate to severe learning difficulties

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Experience working with pupils with additional needs
- A patient, adaptable and nurturing teaching approach
If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply as soon as possible. Interviews will need to be arranged prior to the summer holidays.
We're excited to hear from you!
