Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the property, preventing theft or damage, and responding promptly to any incidents. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and proactive security measures are highly valued. Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorised access and identify potential security risks


• Monitor CCTV systems continuously to observe activity and ensure the safety of all areas


• Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behaviour and intervening when necessary


• Respond swiftly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, including providing first aid if required


• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes


• Enforce security policies and procedures consistently across all areas of the site


• Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services in case of serious incidents or investigations


• Assist visitors and staff with directions or queries in a professional manner

Requirements

• Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred


• Knowledge of CCTV systems, alarm protocols, and loss prevention techniques


• First aid certification is desirable but not essential; training can be provided if necessary


• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively during emergencies


• Strong observational skills with an eye for detail


• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour


• Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond swiftly when required


• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed

Pay: £12,000\.00\-£20,000\.00 per month
