About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious, people focused Salon Manager to lead and develop our Salon in Richmond. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on building something from the ground up, creating strong customer relationships, and establishing a loyal client base.
As the face of the business, you will play a pivotal role in driving awareness, attracting new customers, developing community partnerships, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will be responsible for building a high performing team, creating a positive culture, and ensuring the business becomes the go to destination within the local area.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day to day operations of the business.
- Build and grow a loyal customer base through exceptional service, local networking, and community engagement.
- Develop strong relationships with customers, becoming a trusted and visible presence within the local market.
- Create and implement local marketing, outreach, and customer acquisition initiatives.
- Drive revenue growth through customer retention, referrals and repeat business.
- Monitor business performance and implement initiatives to achieve sales and operational targets.
- Build partnerships with local businesses and community groups to increase awareness and footfall.
Essential
- Proven experience opening, launching, or growing a customer facing business or location.
- Strong track record of building and retaining a loyal customer or client base.
- Minimum 3 years' management experience within hospitality, retail, fitness, wellness, leisure, events, or other service\-led environments.
- Demonstrated success in customer acquisition, community engagement, and business development.
- Experience leading and motivating teams to deliver exceptional customer.
- Commercially aware with experience managing sales targets, budgets, and business performance.
- Highly confident in building rapport and long term relationships with customers, colleagues, and external partners.
