Job Overview
Midland Eye is a leading private ophthalmology clinic based in Olton, Solihull, providing high\-quality specialist eye care and exceptional patient experiences.
We are looking for a confident, professional and results\-driven Patient Care \& Sales Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a key role combining patient care, enquiry management, sales conversion and administrative support. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective patients through their journey, converting enquiries into consultations and treatment bookings, and delivering an outstanding patient experience from first contact to treatment.
In addition to a competitive salary, this role offers a commission structure, providing an excellent earning opportunity for a motivated sales professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling inbound calls, emails, website enquiries and social media messages
- Responding to patient queries professionally and providing exceptional customer service
- Managing and nurturing warm leads with the aim of converting enquiries into consultations and treatment bookings
- Following up enquiries promptly and confidently to maximise conversion opportunities
- Discussing treatment options, consultation pathways and pricing information with prospective patients
- Booking and coordinating appointments, consultations and surgery dates
- Maintaining regular communication with patients throughout their journey
- Working towards individual and team KPIs relating to enquiries, bookings, conversions and patient satisfaction
- Accurately maintaining patient records, correspondence and CRM systems
- Entering referrals, scanning documents and supporting general clinic administration
- Assisting consultants and the wider team with day\-to\-day clinic operations
- Previous experience in a sales, patient coordinator, customer service or consultative sales role
- Demonstrable track record of converting enquiries into appointments, bookings or sales
- Excellent communication, relationship\-building and telephone skills
- Confidence handling patient enquiries and discussing treatment options
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Comfortable working towards targets, KPIs and conversion goals
- Self\-motivated, proactive and results\-oriented
- Professional, empathetic and patient\-focused approach
- Experience within private healthcare, medical, cosmetic, dental, optical or similar sectors
- Experience using CRM or patient management systems
