Air Conditioning Engineer
Overview
We are a Solihull based Air Conditioning Company expanding and looking for qualified engineers to join our teams. Majority of our work is carried out across Solihull and surrounding areas. Some jobs may involve some travel, but overnight stays are not common.
The job is based on a 50\-hour working week, door\-to\-door, and a company van will be provided.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated fully qualified Air Conditioning Engineer with a specialism in Installation to join a growing Air Conditioning company based within Solihull.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems across both residential and commercial properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your technical expertise within a dynamic environment, contributing to the efficient operation of Air Conditioning Systems.
Candidates should possess strong mechanical knowledge and leadership skills, with a focus on delivering high\-quality service and ensuring client satisfaction.
Duties \& Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair a wide range of air conditioning units and systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Installation of wall\-mounted split systems, cassette systems, floor\-mounted systems, multi\-split systems, VRF systems
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate installation and troubleshooting.
- Conduct routine maintenance to optimise system performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Diagnose faults using specialised tools and equipment, then execute effective repairs promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including installations, inspections, repairs, parts used, and system modifications.
- Liaise with customers, site managers and other trades.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation at all times during operations.
- Strong proven experience in systems related to air conditioning installation.
- F\-Gas certification.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong understanding of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring junior staff or apprentices.
- Skilled in equipment repair, troubleshooting complex issues efficiently.
- Good customer facing skills
- Experience with VRF or HVAC systems would be an advantage
Pay: £30,041\.11\-£42,000\.00 per year
