ROV Tooling Engineer

Omega Subsea has established a dedicated tooling technology company to strengthen our position as a leading provider of innovative subsea solutions. By combining engineering expertise with operational experience, we provide, manufacture, and support advanced ROV tooling that enables safer, smarter, and more efficient offshore operations.
To support the continued growth of both our subsea operations and our tooling business, we are expanding our ROV Tooling Department and are looking for an experienced ROV Tooling Engineer to take technical ownership of our ROV tooling portfolio.
In this role, you will be involved in the technical development, standardization, and lifecycle management of our ROV tooling systems. Working closely with offshore personnel, project teams, customers, and manufacturing partners, you will ensure that our tooling solutions are innovative, reliable, and fit for purpose while contributing to the continued growth of our tooling business.
Key responsibilities

Technical ownership
- Own the technical integrity of the ROV tooling fleet.
- Ensure tooling is maintained, tested and mobilisation\-ready.
- Define tooling interfaces, connections and configurations.
- Verify tooling packages meet project requirements.
- Develop maintenance plans, procedures and spare parts strategies.
Maintenance \& repairs
- Coordinate maintenance, servicing and repairs.
- Prioritise work based on operational requirements and risk.
- Maintain accurate asset and service records.
- Manage suppliers and specialist repair providers.
Workshop support
- Provide technical leadership to workshop technicians.
- Support troubleshooting, testing and repairs.
- Coordinate workshop activities to meet mobilisation schedules.

- Hands\-on ROV tooling experience within offshore, subsea or workshop environments.
- Strong hydraulic and practical electrical knowledge.
- Experience in equipment maintenance, fault\-finding and repair.
- Experience leading or coordinating technicians.
- Good understanding of ROV tooling interfaces and control systems.
- Familiarity with asset management and maintenance systems.
- Strong English communication skills; Norwegian is beneficial.
- Relevant technical certifications are advantageous.
