Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food service and safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities, ensuring smooth day\-to\-day operations
- Lead and motivate staff, including serving personnel, kitchen staff, and baristas, fostering a positive team environment
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality standards and consistency
- Manage food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations and company policies
- Organise staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to optimise productivity
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant environment in line with hygiene standards
- Assist with food production tasks when necessary, including culinary preparation and kitchen assistance
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and minimise waste
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and equipment
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong team management skills with the ability to inspire and lead diverse staff members
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Familiarity with culinary techniques and food production processes
- Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Leadership qualities combined with a proactive approach to problem\-solving
- Knowledge of health regulations related to food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: £24,420\.00\-£38,000\.00 per year
