Restaurant Manager
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within a vibrant dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the restaurant. A background in culinary arts, food preparation, and team management is essential to succeed in this position. The Restaurant Manager will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork and high\-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and presentation
- Manage the entire guest experience from seating to service, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times
- Implement and uphold food safety regulations and hygiene standards across the establishment
- Coordinate with the kitchen team on food production, menu planning, and special dietary requirements
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control efficiently
- Train new staff members and provide ongoing development opportunities for existing team members
- Ensure compliance with health \& safety legislation and company policies
- Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly to maintain positive relationships
- Organise staff schedules to optimise coverage during peak hours while controlling labour costs
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Familiarity with culinary techniques, food production processes, and kitchen operations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Experience in hospitality management or hotel environments is advantageous
- Knowledge of serving procedures and hospitality standards
- Previous barista or bar management experience is desirable but not essential
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- A recognised qualification in hospitality management or culinary arts is preferred
Pay: £32,000\.00\-£36,000\.00 per year
