Restaurant and Bar Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant and Bar Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and bar experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse team, ensure food safety standards, and create a welcoming environment for guests. Previous supervisory experience in hospitality settings, including kitchen and bar management, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of restaurant and bar staff to ensure smooth service


• Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and motivate staff to achieve operational goals


• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health \& safety standards across all areas


• Assist in food production and kitchen operations as needed, including culinary tasks and serving duties


• Monitor customer satisfaction levels, address complaints promptly, and foster a positive dining atmosphere


• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the restaurant and bar areas


• Train new staff members on service procedures, food safety protocols, and company policies


• Assist guests with checking in to our Guest rooms. and showing them to their rooms.

• Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, with a focus on supervising teams in busy environments


• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations


• Experience in culinary roles such as chef or cook is highly desirable


• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage team dynamics effectively


• Background in serving or hospitality roles demonstrating excellent customer service skills


• Familiarity with food production processes, kitchen operations, and bar management including barista experience is advantageous


• Organisational skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently under pressure


• A personable attitude with strong communication skills to engage both staff and guests effectively
