Job Role: Model In Loop (MIL) Engineer
Location – Stafford, UK
Location \- 6 months contract
he Model In Loop (MIL) Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of the of HVDC Controls \& Protection Application team's activities on time / as per Program Schedule through proper coordination of NPI and Delivery department. The role involves power systems understanding and software development and debugging skills of the HVDC controls and protection system. Job Description Essential responsibilities:
- Engineering degree or equivalent including power systems and power electronics subjects or proven equivalent knowledge and experience in HVDC business.
- Experience in the position of Verification Engineer in High Voltage field, with experience as a Control \& Protection design Engineer.
- Good knowledge of overall HVDC system including control and protection system is essential.
- Experience of developing and working with Simulink models is essential including knowledge of Overall HVDC System Operational Behaviour.
- Fluency in English language.
Expected hours: 40\.0 per week
