Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse Colposcopist to join our specialised healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide expert patient care during colposcopy procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety while delivering high\-quality clinical services. Responsibilities

  • Conduct colposcopy examinations with precision and professionalism, ensuring patient comfort throughout the procedure

  • Administer medications and topical agents as required during procedures, adhering to prescribed protocols

  • Educate patients on procedures, post\-care instructions, and health maintenance strategies in a compassionate manner

  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and organisational policies

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalised care plans for patients

  • Ensure all clinical equipment is properly maintained, sterilised, and ready for use at all times

  • Uphold strict infection control standards and safety protocols within the clinical environment
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse qualification recognised within the UK, with valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)

  • Current BSCCP registration/accreditation for Colposcopists

  • Proven experience in patient care, ideally within gynaecology or women's health settings

  • Knowledge of anatomy relevant to cervical health and related procedures

  • Competence in medication administration, including topical and injectable medications as appropriate

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide empathetic patient support and education

  • Organised with meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping and adherence to clinical protocols

Pay: £350\.00 per day
