Peeko Online Ltd is a fast\-growing FMCG online retailer looking for a motivated and organised Purchasing Assistant / Trainee Buyer to join our busy Buying Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in purchasing and procurement. Full training will be provided, making this role ideal for a candidate with strong organisational skills and a desire to learn.
Key Responsibilities
· Raising and processing purchase orders accurately and efficiently
· Creating and maintaining product codes and supplier information
· Supporting the Buying Team with day\-to\-day purchasing activities
· Liaising with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and product information
· Assisting with stock control and inventory management
· Maintaining accurate purchasing and product records
· Building and managing supplier relationships
· Supporting the team with administrative and reporting tasks as required
About You
· Previous experience in purchasing, administration, retail, or FMCG is desirable but not essential
· Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
· Ability to work effectively in a fast\-paced environment
· Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
· Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
· Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
Pay: £27,000\.00 per year
