ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

An opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join our busy, hard\-working admin team.
Applicants must be friendly, flexible, professional, and enthusiastic, with the following skills:
- Education to at least GCSE or equivalent at Grade 4 or above
- Experience in an office environment providing administrative support
- Proficient IT skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience of reception/telephonist duties dealing with members of the public, including the ability to deal with sometimes upsetting/distressing phonecalls.
- Experience of handling money including the maintenance of accurate computerised records.
- Processing incoming invoices for payment.
- Processing of all incoming and outgoing mail.
- Excellent organisation and administration skills, including good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritise own workload
- Reception and hospitality to clients and visiting professionals, arranging refreshments if necessary.
- Co\-ordinating and booking client assessments for the trainee programme and sending text reminders for appointments.
- Self\-reliant and able to work with minimum of supervision
- Flexible and co\-operative
- Ability to work under pressure and with frequent interruptions
- A level of interpersonal skills to enable professional relationships to be developed with clients, staff and other professionals.
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- The ability to liaise effectively with other agencies
- All other general admin duties as commensurate with the post
The post attracts a salary of £25,000 per annum
The position is full time \- 52 weeks (37\.5 hours per week), office hours are 9\.00\-5\.00\.
