About the role
Decron delivers roofing, cladding, rainscreen systems and fire remediation on complex, high\-value projects across the UK. We work from regional offices in Clitheroe, Middlesborough, Doncaster and Cannock, and we are growing.
You will report to the Office Manager, giving the team essential administrative support and helping run our purchasing function. If you have hands\-on Sage experience, particularly with Projects, and you enjoy juggling several tasks in a busy construction setting, this is for you.
What you'll do
Admin and project support
- Support the Office Manager with correspondence, filing and document management.
- Be the professional first point of contact for calls, emails and post.
- Set up new projects on Sage and keep project cost records accurate.
- Handle plant hire and off\-hire for machinery on our construction sites.
- Help with monthly reporting, cost tracking and budget monitoring.
- Process purchase orders and manage the procurement cycle in Sage.
- Get quotes, confirm orders, manage deliveries and resolve invoice queries.
- Reconcile purchase invoices against orders and delivery notes, escalating any discrepancies.
- Keep supplier records, pricing and contacts up to date in Sage.
- Hold subcontractor and supplier documents, including insurance certificates and accreditations.
- Learn the purchasing side so you can cover busy periods and annual leave.
Essential
- A strong administrative background, ideally in construction, facilities management or a similar trade.
- Proven experience with Sage, specifically the Projects module.
- Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
- Clear, approachable communication.
- Happy working independently and as part of a small, close\-knit team.
- Experience in purchasing, procurement or buying support.
- Familiarity with roofing and cladding terminology.
£30,000 Annual salary
33 days holiday a year, including bank holidays
