Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the operations of The Shireburn Arms.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all aspects of restaurant or hospitality operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving activities.
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee team performance to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee food production processes to ensure quality control and consistency across all offerings.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimise efficiency and customer experience.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, inventory management, and cost control measures.
- Foster a welcoming environment for guests while ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers for procurement of ingredients and supplies necessary for daily operations.
- Handle customer feedback or complaints promptly to uphold the establishment’s reputation.
- Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate innovative practices to enhance service standards.
- Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Experience in food safety standards and compliance regulations.
- Background in food production or culinary arts is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, serving practices, and hospitality management.
- Previous experience working in a kitchen environment or barista roles is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
