Project Manager

Jamieson Contracting are an award\-winning construction who work with many high profile clients across many sections. Due to securing of new projects and appointment onto new frameworks, we are looking to add to our management team.

We currently have a vacancy for a Project Manager to join our team to oversee construction projects valuing from £50k to £4m. For the this role Jamieson's can offer a very competitive salary, health care, car allowance and bonus scheme based on performance of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Work to and promote Jamieson’s ‘Right Time First, On Time, Every time’ culture


• Manage projects between approximately £50k to £4m


• Attend client and contractor meetings.


• Produce and monitor tracking tools to deliver the change control services


• Work closely with commercial team to capture VO and invoicing


• Provide support different members of the Jamieson team


• Ensure all site adhere to the highest H\&S standards


• Quality Control


• Monitor and update programmes


• Progress reporting to directors

About you:

• Extensive Project Management experience of delivering projects in refurbishment, new build and infrastructure sections


• Excellent construction knowledge


• NVQ/HNC/BSc (Hons) Degree in construction/surveying/project management/quantity surveying or at least 5 years Construction Management Experience


• Ability to interact at a senior management team level through presentations, one to one meetings and by written reports.


• Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly Word, Excel and Project.


• Strong interpersonal and team working skills


• Ability to work to a consistent high standard with minimal supervision


• Desire to learn and develop


• Team Player


• Full, preferably clean, UK driving licence


• Subject to an Enhanced DBS check.

The successful candidate will be proactive, experienced in all aspects of project management and will be responsible for all the successful management of the sites, site managers and supervisors under their control.

The candidate will have experience of managing many types of projects and have a proven track record demonstrating the ability to deliver projects successfully. The candidate should be able to demonstrate good people management skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be proactive, experienced in all aspects of site management and will be responsible for Health and Safety Management, record keeping, quality control, coordination of Sub\-contractors, ordering materials and monitoring progress to ensure key dates and milestones are met.

Location: Spilt between Jamieson Head Office and site

Pay: £50,000\.00\-£63,000\.00 per year
