Project Commercial Co-Ordinator

Duties
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare and review commercial documentation such as contracts, purchase orders and change orders to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Track project expenses including payroll, variations to the order and analyse financial data to identify potential cost overruns or savings opportunities
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to negotiate terms, manage procurement processes, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Assist in risk management by identifying contractual or financial risks early and proposing mitigation strategies
- Maintain comprehensive records of all commercial activities, including invoices, payments, variations, and correspondence
- Support the project team in resolving contractual disputes or issues related to costs or scope changes
- Strong understanding of cost control principles and financial management within project environments
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail for managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Proficiency in using project management software and financial tools for tracking budgets and expenses
- Ability to analyse data critically and produce clear reports for decision\-making purposes
- Knowledge of contractual frameworks and procurement procedures relevant to construction or engineering projects is preferred
- Proactive problem\-solving skills combined with a positive attitude toward teamwork
Pay: £25,500\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year
