Project Accountant

Job Role
This is a newly created role within the organisation during an exciting period of growth and the individual will be responsible for Project accounting/reporting across two divisions of the Group.
This role will be 40 hours a week Monday to Friday. The job will be based at our Doncaster office but will require travelling to our York offices probably at least two days a week initially.
Competitive salary plus car allowance.
Key responsibilities
- Liaising with Project Manager's to establish works complete to help with month end WIP calculations.
- Producing and submitting apps/invoices to customers from information provided by Project Manager's.
- Project reporting to check costs and revenue.
- Month end reports to analyse productivity, hours worked and profits per discipline.
- Month end accounts.

- From an accounting/commercial background.
Most reports are created on Excel. One part of the business uses Xero and the other part uses an inhouse system called Dema plus we are currently transitioning to an ERP system called EFACS.
