Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations and drive excellence across production processes. In this role, you will oversee daily production activities, ensure quality standards are met, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your leadership will be vital in coordinating teams, optimizing workflows, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive environment. Duties

  • Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day\-to\-day operation of a fast\-paced injection moulding production area.

  • Allocate daily production jobs and ensure work is completed efficiently and to schedule.

  • Monitor production output, machine performance and productivity against targets.

  • Coordinate and manage overtime requirements to meet production demands.

  • Manage materials and stock, including pulling, counting and replenishing materials as required.

  • Print and prepare production labels and ensure products are correctly identified and traceable.

  • Carry out in\-process quality checks to ensure products meet the required specifications and quality standards.

  • Complete final product inspections, including checking, packing and preparing finished goods for dispatch.

  • Set up and operate injection moulding machines and associated equipment.

  • Carry out basic machine maintenance, adjustments and fault finding, escalating more complex repairs where required.

  • Ensure machines are running efficiently and production downtime is minimised.

  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised production environment, following company procedures and health \& safety requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in manufacturing supervision or a similar leadership role within an industrial environment.

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and effectively.

  • Knowledge of assembly processes, process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), and quality control standards.

  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate cross\-functional teams and relay technical information clearly.

  • Ability to analyze data, identify opportunities for efficiency gains, and implement solutions proactively.

  • Prior experience working with process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement strategies is highly desirable.

Pay: £15\.00\-£18\.50 per hour
