The Role
------------

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied caseload of wills, probate, trusts and estate planning matters


• Advising on all aspects of estate administration, including taxable estates and deeds of variation


• Drafting wills and providing inheritance tax planning advice, including for high\-net\-worth individuals


• Advising on and preparing lasting powers of attorney


• Creating, administering and advising on lifetime trusts


• Providing specialist advice in relation to vulnerable beneficiaries and potential claims against estates


• Building strong relationships with existing clients and developing new business opportunities


• Networking and promoting the firm's services within the local market


• Delivering pragmatic, empathetic and commercially focused advice


• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and risk management requirements.

About You
-------------

Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with experience in private client law. Whilst candidates with 3\+ years' PQE are particularly encouraged to apply, all levels of experience will be considered.

You will ideally have experience of:

• Trust creation, administration and advisory work


• Inheritance tax planning


• Estate planning for high\-net\-worth clients


• Complex estate administration and deeds of variation


• Drafting wills, including will trusts for asset protection and long\-term tax planning.

You will be personable, technically strong and passionate about delivering exceptional client care. Equally important is the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and professional contacts, helping to contribute to the continued growth and success of the department.
