Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. This role involves supporting pharmacists in dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring the smooth operation of pharmacy services. The successful candidate will play a vital part in assisting with medication management and delivering compassionate support to patients. Prior pharmacy technician experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescribed medications accurately and efficiently


• Manage medication inventory, including stock replenishment and storage organisation


• Provide patient care by answering queries related to medications and advising on proper usage


• Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety standards


• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, medication logs, and patient information in accordance with data protection regulations


• Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety guidelines


• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes through effective medication management

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or relevant healthcare support role is highly desirable


• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care practices


• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing and record keeping


• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members


• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast\-paced environment


• A recognised qualification or certification in pharmacy support or technician training is advantageous but not essential


• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards of practice
