Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications to patients. You will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care while adhering to all regulatory and safety standards.
Duties
- Accurately dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Prepare and label medication for patient use, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Assist in the administration of medication under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed and inventory levels.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering patient queries regarding medications and health products.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy environment.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medication administration processes and best practices in patient care.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work effectively within a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Pay: £12\.71\-£15\.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Halifax, West Yorkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
- Dispensing: 5 years (required)
