Role Overview
This apprenticeship provides a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience within a busy care office while developing valuable skills in administration, care coordination, recruitment, compliance, and customer service.
You will work alongside experienced professionals who will support your learning and development, helping you build the knowledge and confidence required for a successful career in health and social care.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the office team with a variety of administrative duties.
- Assist with maintaining accurate client and staff records using our care management systems.
- Help prepare documentation including care plans, risk assessments, training records, and recruitment files.
- Support the coordination team with scheduling and monitoring care visits.
- Help maintain compliance records and ensure documentation is up to date.
- Support the team in conducting client reviews and updating care records where appropriate.
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, carers, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
- Assist with answering telephone enquiries and responding to emails.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
- Promote person\-centred care and support clients to maintain independence and wellbeing.
- Contribute positively to the team and demonstrate the values of compassion, dignity, respect, and professionalism.
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career within health and social care.
- A caring, compassionate, and professional attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, are desirable.
