Personal Assistant to General Manager
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support the General Manager in all daily operations. Days can be negotiated, but likely to be 3\-4 days in the UK Head Office (Normanton), working alongside a team of PA's, and 1\-2 days remote. This role involves managing schedules, handling correspondence, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth business functioning. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and remove the organisational burden away from the GM. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and proficiency with various office software (excel, Powerpoint/Canva, etc). We also want someone who uses/embraces the growing need for Claude/Co\-Pilot AI within a busy working environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the General Manager’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments efficiently
- Organise Senior Management meetings \- setting agendas, travel arrangements for attendees, organise hotel bookings/meeting rooms, etc.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Support general administrative, including reception cover during lunch/holiday on occassions.
- Monitoring Trello work management flow on numerous projects \- UK and North EU areas.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines in a fast\-paced environment
Any French, German or Dutch language skills would be a major plus point as the GM oversees business areas across Northern Europe, but this is not a requirement for this position.
Pay: £37,500\.00\-£42,000\.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Normanton (West Yorkshire, Yorkshire and Humber Region)
