About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Engineer to join our team in the Wakefield region providing support across our depot network in the North.
The salary for this role is negotiable (DOE) plus a company van, overtime, and benefits.
Job Opportunity
This Regional Engineer Role in Brief;
- Carrying out pre\-delivery inspections (PDIs), services, LOLER inspections, repairs, manufacturer updates and maintaining the corporate image of our fleet of rental machines.
- Attending breakdowns on customer sites.
- Accurately completing all necessary records of checks, repairs etc using a company issued tablet, following company procedure at all times.
- Communicating effectively with the engineering team and hire office to make sure that the depot maintains maximum machine availability.

Essential Skills
- You must hold an engineering qualification – minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plant maintenance.
- Experience within the powered access industry is essential.
- Competent in electro/hydraulic systems.
- You will be experienced in fault\-finding/diagnostics.
- You will be working closely with customers and colleagues, so you must be able to communicate professionally.
- You must be able to prioritise tasks in an ever\-changing demanding hire environment.
