Full\-time 37\.5 hours per week

Circa £52,000 per annum (full\-time equivalent salary)

Plus non contractual bonus

Based at our offices in Hessle with the flexibility to travel as required.

Due to internal movement within the People team we are looking for an experienced and commercially minded People Partner to join our team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to support a diverse portfolio of businesses, partnering with leaders from various sectors to deliver people solutions that drive compliance, performance and increase engagement.

Normal working hours are 7\.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday to be worked between the hours of 9\.00am\-5\.30pm.

The role

As a People Partner working across a diverse range of businesses and central services, you will be responsible for acting as a trusted advisor across a small portfolio of employees (\<100\) from our central services teams and businesses, including the Services, Transport \& Logistics and Maritime divisions including a Charitable Foundation. Playing a key role in shaping people plans, developing management and leadership capability and ensuring our people practices support business objectives, compliance and an outstanding employee experience.

The role will include:

· Partnering with leaders to deliver people strategies that support business performance, compliant practices and engagement.

· Providing expert guidance on employee relations, organisational change and people management.

· Coaching managers and develop leadership capability across your business areas.

· Representing the People Team at Health \& Safety Committee meetings and employee forums, supporting effective workforce consultation, engagement and communication while ensuring compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.

· Leading recruitment, succession planning and workforce development initiatives.

· Developing and use people data and insights to identify trends, inform decisions and drive improvement.

· Supporting employee engagement initiatives and help create high\-performing, inclusive workplaces.

· Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, company policies and best practice.

· Contributing to the broader People projects, change programmes and business integrations as required.

About you:

You'll be a confident, credible HR professional with the experience and ability to converse and influence at all levels and adapt approach accordingly.

We're looking for someone with a broad HR background who has partnered with both operational and central service functions. Ideally, you'll have experience within warehousing, logistics or similar operational environments, alongside exposure to corporate functions such as Finance, IT, Marketing, Governance and Administration Support.

You'll bring:

· Proven experience in a People Partner, HR Business Partner or similar role.

· Strong employee relations knowledge and employment law expertise.

· Excellent coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the business.

· A commercial mindset with the ability to balance people, operational and business priorities.

· A proven ability to build relationships, influence and engage people at all levels, bringing people on the journey, building buy\-in and creating momentum for change and continuous improvement.

· Experience of managing change and leading people initiatives.

· Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into meaningful actions.

· CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience) desirable.
